Any cards printing company and printing business will tell you that you can do anything you want with the prints you order, but common sense will dictate that you should not distribute your professional business cards in hopes of picking up dates. You did not spend all that time deciding on the perfect print designs and design templates only to waste your prints on such a trivial and superficial thing. Of course, no one can stop you in case you do decide to use your business card as an innovative way of impressing people enough to take them to dinner, but hopefully you choose to preserve the sanctity of the business and do otherwise. Scratch paper. Your business card may have enough free space to fit some simple reminders or computations, but it does not mean that you should actually use it for these purposes, not in the least. If another person were to take your business card and use it as a scratch paper, it would be incredibly disrespectful to you, and if you yourself did this it would actually seem as if you are demeaning your own trade and skills. Make that extra effort into looking for actual blank papers for anything that you want to scrawl down, because in the eyes of other people this may mean the difference between a professional business and an amateur. Anything else that does not involve business. Seeing as the name of the product is the “business” card, it would make sense that any application that does not involve anything that would help strengthen and improve your business may be counted as an instance of inappropriate business card use. This may seem like such a generic description, but if you are any good with what you do, you would be well aware of anything that falls under this category. Business cards are something that should be respected and used wisely if you want to make the most out of them. Even if business card printing leaves you with a lot of choices and alternatives, this would still mean that you have to make good decisions regarding the prints you order.
